What makes a stage manager effective and successful? Organization and communication skills that are high functioning. Ability to work under immense pressure and being able to think on their feet and problem solve anything that could possibly go wrong in production. Sharp eye for detail, whilst maintaining clarity for all the different teams involved in the day-to-day running of a theatre production from rehearsals right through to performances and then post-show. 

Stage Managers are the backbone for the production. They are adept in all languages used on set between disciplines and embody the respect of all of these disciplines. At Treehouse Studios, when we bring stage management to your project we’ll provide practical, technical and organisational expertise and support to the director, actors, designers, stage crew and technicians throughout the production process.
