Most people seek success for personal fulfillment, others out of Spite.
This is the pilot episode to an episodic series written by Seanie Sugrue. The story follows a few struggling artists living in NYC.
The entire short was shot over 9 days in January 2018. We utilised the nature of season to further emphasise the story plot. The whole city from Harlem to Bushwick, to Astoria, LIC and the Lower East Side can be seen throughout the short.
After wrapping production, the post-production was scheduled for a 6-week timeframe to ensure picture lock for the full hour long episode.
SPITE premiered at the Angelica Film Center.
