Misty Button

After being asked to place a ten thousand dollar bet on a racehorse, James and Eoin make the fatal mistake of pocketing the money. The two Irish emigres face crisis when Misty Button comes in at 35-1.

This project was beyond anything we could’ve imagined. The entire film was shot in 9 days. After wrapping production, we were faced with less than ideal circumstances in the post-production process as the writer-director, Seanie Sugrue, located in LA and the primary editor located in NYC. To streamline the post-production process, we established milestone days and benchmarks to render edits to be uploaded to a Google drive for review whilst continuing the larger edit of the film. Patrick Scherrer was in the NYC editing room 60 hours a week, 4 months straight.

Once we finished editing the film, we entered it into the award circuits. We had the pleasure of travelling from CA to Ireland to showcase our film at the festivals, winning a bunch of awards along the way. This project was one of the most rewarding projects to have been a part of.
